The Last Day Tyne & Wear Metro 599 Metrocar 4024 + 4050 - 26/06/2026

Some footage of 4024 & 4050 on the final day of the 599s long service, I was amazed at how many enthusiast's as well as normal people turned out for this last day with one gent having come from Canada! 4024 & 4050 where packed with people throughout the entire day getting busier as it went on. On my last trip 4050 was so packed with people that when the doors opened at stations passengers where falling out onto the platforms and with the heat and lack of air conditioning the 599s smelt pretty nasty with so many people packed in all day.
