Medicine Buddha sadhana explanation (and lung) – Lama Choedak Rinpoche, September 8, 2026 (replay)

On September 8, 2026 Sakya Friends shared and translated to other languages two videos of Lama Choedak Rinpoche, giving on the first video lung of the sadhana and on the second video - the explanation of Medicine Buddha sadhana. The lung for sadhana was given at the request of Sakya Friends after His Holiness the Sakya Trichen gave the empowerment on February 3, 2026. The sadhana expanation was given as part of in-person teaching retreat in New Zealand. The sadhana was composed by tertön Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo (1820–1892), founder of the non-sectarian Rimé movement in Tibet and the last of the five tertön kings, who is considered an emanation of the body of Jigme Lingpa, as well as of Vimalamitra and King Trisong Detsen.
