What does it look like to live with peace and presence in a world that never stops demanding our attention? In Luke 10, Martha welcomes Jesus into her home and serves Him faithfully, but anxiety begins pulling her in every direction. Mary, meanwhile, sits at Jesus’ feet and listens. Jesus isn’t condemning Martha’s work. He’s inviting her to recognize what’s happening inside her—and to remember that His presence matters more than the pressure to keep up. This message explores what it means to abide in Christ and build a life rooted in His presence rather than anxiety. Through Scripture, the example of Jesus, and practical rhythms of prayer, time in God’s Word, and Sabbath rest, we’ll discover how to return our attention to God in the middle of everyday life. Because peace isn’t found in finally getting everything done. It’s found in learning to live with Jesus, where doing flows from being.
