Camped on a Ledge Between the Scafells in the Hilleberg Akto

In this video I head up to Scafell Pike via Ruddys Ghyll, which is a lot quieter than the main path to Styhead Tarn. I reach the wind shelter above Esk Hause and stop for a haribo and water break, as the wind picks up slightly it brings an almost icy breeze. I continue along the path and head to a very very busy Scafell Pike where I bypass the summit and head to my destination Mickeldore. After killing an hour and collecting water I make my way onto a ledge I’ve know about for some time, could I pitch my Akto here is it safe and will it fit. I make it work and the tent is pitched on a very cool spot which feels save to spend the night there. The sun set’s, although not the best sunset I’ve seen but still enjoy my food, beer and chill out for the evening. After a windy night I awake to no views and raining not what was forecasted. Waterproofs on and I carefully pack the tent up and head back up to Scafell pike where I join the tourist route and then onto the corridor route and finally back to Seathwaite.
