Christopher Abbott on ‘East of Eden,’ ‘Girls’ and His Upcoming X-Men Role | The Rolling Stone Studio

It’s been a good year for #christopherabbott. In February, he was nominated for his first #tonyawards for playing Biff Loman in the revival of Arthur Miller’s Death of Salesman. In late July, he welcomed his first child, a daughter, with partner and fellow actor #aubreyplaza. Weeks later, #marvel announced that Abbott will take on the role of Charles Xavier (#professorx) in the highly anticipated #xmen reboot coming in 2028. And most recently, he stepped into the boots of Adam Trask for ‪@Netflix‬'s buzzy, eight-episode adaptation of John Steinbeck’s #eastofeden. One on its own would be a feat. Together, they represent a banner 10 months — and there’s more on the immediate horizon.
