We borrowed a 32ft class A motorhome — a 2011 Forest River Georgetown — to test if we could actually live with a big flat-front rig on our quest to find the perfect RV, and drove it to camp fimfo in the Texas Hill Country. Then the real test began: navigating that huge flat front through Wimberley on the first day of school while I was convinced Ken was half an inch from every mailbox, trash can, and tree on my side of the road. We share the honest behind-the-scenes of driving scared, parking this 32-footer, and figuring out slides and auto-levelers that had minds of their own (user error — we had to turn the motor off!).
