Sicily's Hospitality Blew Us Away 🇮🇹

Our first full day in Sicily, exploring Savoca, a small village famous for its scenes in The Godfather. We stayed in a beautiful house with a terrace overlooking the Sicilian coastline and Mount Etna. We spent the day walking through the village, visiting famous filming locations, trying local food, and meeting some incredibly generous locals. One shop owner even went out of his way to help us find ingredients for dinner, giving us pasta, herbs, and his own olive oil. We ended the day cooking dinner with fresh local ingredients, enjoying some Sicilian wine on our terrace, and walking through the quiet streets of Savoca in the evening.
