You've read the same paragraph four times tonight, and you're blaming your attention span or your phone. The problem is how you read: three specific spots, and none of them is about willpower. Here are three fixes you can test this week.
Free one-page drill (no email required): https://drive.google.com/file/d/12kkm...
Chapters
0:00 Same paragraph, fourth time
0:37 Step 1: Kill the regression
1:45 Step 2: Turn off the narrator
2:44 Step 3: Match your speed to the stakes
3:34 The drill, and the number that should bother you
Try this today
1. Pace with a pen: a straight line under the words, a touch faster than comfortable.
2. Quiet the voice: on easy text, let the voice in your head get quieter.
3. Skim, then dive: headers, first lines and bold first, then slow down for the 2 or 3 sections that carry the argument.
Test it for one week and keep what works.
