After 10–12 weeks in the fridge, our peach pits have finally had their winter, and it’s time to plant them. In Part 1 we sorted the good seeds from the bad by floating them, and this time we’re putting the good ones in the dirt. Cold stratification is what tricks a peach pit into thinking it’s been through a winter, which is what it needs before it will sprout. Now that they’ve had their time in the cold, the next step is planting. We’ll check back in the spring when they go into pots, or mid-winter if they’re bulk growing before then. If you missed the first video, start there so you can follow the whole process:    • Growing Peachs From Seed - Side-mission 1 ...   This is part of our ongoing series following the renovation of our West Coast Canada property — new episodes drop regularly, so subscribe if you want to follow along with the full journey. 📍 Follow the full renovation journey: ‪@BairdNecessities‬ #PeachTree #GrowingFromSeed #FruitTrees #Gardening #BairdNecessities
