Chris Car: Standing out in Shropshire

In this episode of Shropshire Creative Conversations, Sam and Vicky sit down with Chris Carr, owner of Sailhouse Cars – or you may know him from Volvo Shrewsbury and AION Shrewsbury!   Chris' journey into being a Shropshire business owner was unexpected - after his previous job moved to Morocco, he had to decide whether to leave Shropshire or look for something new. A chance conversation with a friend led him to creating Sailhouse Cars, and taking over Volvo Shrewsbury.   We chat about how that journey unfolded, what it’s like running a family business, and the kind of working environment Chris wants to create for his team.   Chris also talks about the role Shropshire has played in his career, the opportunities he’s had along the way, and how the recent expansion into AION Shrewsbury is opening up new opportunities for the business and its team.   In the Creative Section, Sam and Vicky tell us all about Shropshire Creative Agency.
