Garden to Grave - Genesis 4 #garden #cain #abel #death #crying #blood

"Am I my brother's keeper?" Cain was a gardener. Abel raised sheep and was a shepherd. Both brought a gift to the Lord for a sacrifice for their sin. The Bible describes Cain's gift as "some" veggies. The description of Abel's gift was of the very "best" of his flock. Cain brought leftovers. Abel brought the best he had. This really shows us the heart of each of these brothers. Where is your heart? Do you give God your best? Or do you give the Lord your leftover time, leftover conversation, leftover finance, or leftover love? Oh, that we would give Him our best!!! God gave you His best! Let us strive to love Him to our fullest. In Jesus name!
