One Child Left - Genesis 7-8 at HCCF #bible #noah #flood #jesus

God told Noah and his family "come into the ark" which tells us that God was in the Ark. I love that in the midst of a storm, God is right there with us! We are also told that Noah was a preacher of Righteousness in 2 Peter, and even God calls Noah a man of righteousness here in chapter 7. When the world had become so evil due to sin, the only one left willing to listen and obey, was Noah. So, God unfolded a plan to start over. Many would say, "If God is so loving, why would He destroy all humanity and the animals?" Keeping it simple, satan is the one who comes to Steal, Kill, and Destroy. Sin had already destroyed humanity except for the One Child Left, Noah. God even saved all of Noah's family. In chapters 7-8 we have a detailed account of the worldwide flood as well as the promise from God that He will never again destroy the earth in the same way. When Jesus brings this world to an end, due to the rampant sin we see today, it will not be by flood, but by fire. May the Lord bless you as you strive to be a Child of God who is will to listen and obey.
