Will Kirk Restores Jacob's Dad's Kitchen Table | The Repair Shop UK | S7 E46

A wobbly Victorian kitchen table holds a boy’s memories of his dad — and today, it finally stands steady again. Watch Will Kirk take on his most delicate challenge: steaming a warped tabletop to flex the grain, then locking it true with invisible biscuit joints. Dean revives Uncle Burt’s century-old clown shoes using glycerin cleaning, hand-applied conditioning cream, and a 100-year-old stitcher — with a bold lace choice that sparks smiles. And David painstakingly brings a forgotten Isleworth racecourse diorama back from dust and sun-fade, reuniting hundreds of tiny spectators and horses while a childhood mishap with turkey skewers quietly lingers in the air. From ingenious techniques to deeply personal payoffs, this episode shows how craft can carry family stories forward. Don’t miss the reveal moments — and the reactions that say everything. Watch to the end. #TheRepairShop #WillKirk #FamilyHeirloom #Restoration #ClownShoes #VictorianDiorama #BBC
