Starting Strong: When God Brings Structure, Substance & Clarity | Bible Teaching

What happens when you start strong with God, but your life still feels formless, empty, or unclear? In this teaching, we look at the opening picture of creation in Genesis 1 and uncover a powerful pattern in how God works. Before God filled the earth, He brought structure. Before He brought abundance, He addressed emptiness. Before He revealed what was to come, He spoke into the darkness. Sometimes we want God to give us clarity immediately, but God may first be dealing with the structure of our lives. Sometimes we are asking God to fill what is empty, while He is first putting things in order. In this teaching, we explore three movements: 1. Formlessness → Structure 2. Emptiness → Substance 3. Darkness → Clarity Starting strong is not simply about having a powerful beginning. It is about allowing God to establish the right foundation for what He wants to build. We look at Genesis 1 and consider what these principles can teach us about our walk with God, our purpose, our identity, and the seasons where life feels uncertain. Main Scripture: Genesis 1:1–5 If you're in a season where things feel unclear, empty, or out of order, this teaching is for you. Watch until the end, take notes, and ask yourself: What is God currently bringing structure to in my life? SUBSCRIBE for more Bible teachings, conversations and Christ-centred content.
