Turrón ice cream is the flavor I look for every time I visit Spain, and I finally made it at home with my Thermomix! This is my *first try* at Cookidoo’s helado de turrón recipe, so you’ll see me figure it out as I go — from whipping the cream to cutting up the frozen mixture and blending it into ice cream. And, of course, you’ll see that first taste. 🍦 If turrón is new to you, it’s a Spanish almond nougat we traditionally eat at Christmas. For this recipe you need the soft kind, turrón de Jijona. I’ll also show you other ways to make frozen treats with a Thermomix: fruit ice cream, sorbet and frozen yogurt you can serve right away; a Neapolitan ice cream that needs a few hours in the freezer; and recipes like this one that you freeze and blend again. Ingredients for the turrón ice cream: 500 g whipping cream 300 g soft turrón de Jijona 30 g honey 4 egg yolks 50 g sugar and a pinch of salt RECIPE: https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/recipe... The recipe on my Thermomix screen is in Spanish, but I walk you through it in English, and... with the new translation feature that just came out (after I made the recording), you can get it in English if you want to make it yourself! =============== Don’t have a Thermomix yet?
