This House Stays Cool Without AC… 😳🌿

Discover Taliru House, a thoughtfully designed 3581 sq.ft multigenerational home in Bengaluru by Wright Inspires—where architecture goes beyond aesthetics to shape everyday living. Designed for three generations under one roof, this home is not about luxury—it’s about living better, smarter, and more connected. Inspired by traditional Indian courtyard homes, Taliru integrates light, ventilation, greenery, and water into the core of daily life rather than treating them as decorative elements. The house unfolds as a series of interconnected spaces and open-to-sky courtyards, allowing natural light and airflow to move freely throughout. These design strategies create a home that stays naturally cool, breathable, and energy-efficient, reducing the need for mechanical systems like air conditioning. The ground floor forms a seamless social core, where living, dining, and kitchen spaces flow together, encouraging interaction across generations. Private areas on the upper levels are designed as calm retreats, each receiving balanced daylight and cross ventilation. A striking double-height volume connects the home vertically, enhancing spatial openness and light. Material choices reflect honesty and sustainability—brick, clay, stone, and terracotta come together in a restrained palette that ages beautifully over time. Every detail, from built-in furniture to lighting, is integrated into the architecture, creating a cohesive and timeless environment. Taliru is not just a house—it’s a living system. A home that adapts, evolves, and grows with its people. A space where architecture quietly supports life, across generations, for years to come.
