The War in Your Mind | How to Win the Spiritual Battle

There is a war taking place in your mind, and the thoughts you allow to take root can either lead you into captivity or bring you into freedom through Christ. In this sermon, we explore what the Bible teaches about spiritual warfare, strongholds, and temptation, and what it means to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Using 2 Corinthians 10:3–5, we examine the battlefield of the mind and how thoughts and imaginations can become strongholds that lead us toward sin and spiritual captivity. We explore what it means to take every thought captive and submit it to Christ. Through Titus 2:11–13 and 2 Corinthians 12, we see how God’s grace teaches, strengthens, and transforms us. His grace gives us revelation, truth brings freedom, and dependence on God gives us strength to overcome.
