My name is Annika Lyytikäinen and I am a Finnish clarinet player and folk musician. During the years I’ve spent in the wonderful world of folk music, I have discovered loads of amazing folk clarinet traditions from around the world. Some of them I studied carefully with academic experts and traditional players, some I’ve got to know only recently. This Norwegian "ghost waltz" that I learnt from the Norwegian clarinetist Olav Sæta's recording. He in his turn plays the tune "etter Gudbrand Gudbrandsen".
