HA Kits Thames slipper launch first wet

My first powerboat effort. I got a lovely simple Thames Slipper launch kit from HA Kits and went a bit daft after looking at some of these beauties around Henley on Thames and Marlow. My first attempt using veneer for the decK etc. I used 25gsm glass fibre and Deluxe materials Eze-kote on the hull and got some emulsion match pots paint for the colours. I waterproofed everything with 4 cans of spray on lacquer which seems to have given me a nice shiny finish. At scale speed it's fine....I gave it the beans and the speed controller spat the dummy. Besides that, I mounted a gopro on a servo just to see what it would be like, not bad but too low. Not enough rudder movement too so will sort that out
