A wander through Rome: the Eternal City : Part 1 of My Italy Wanderings Series.

Our first full day exploring Rome, Italy. From an early metro journey into the city to the ancient ruins of Circus Maximus, the peaceful Orange Garden, the historic Appian Way, and finishing with views of the Colosseum and Roman Forum — this was the perfect start to reintroduce us to the Eternal City. The day ended with cold drinks, gelato, and a metro ride home through the evening streets of Rome.
