Adventures of Lolo 2 (NES) Playthrough

A playthrough of Hal's 1990 puzzle game for the NES, Adventures of Lolo 2. This video shows the full game, including the bonus pro puzzles that can only be accessed with passwords. You can find the pro puzzles at 44:55. Adventures of Lolo 2 is the sequel to 1989's    • Adventures of Lolo (NES) Playthrough  , and the sixth game in Hal's Eggerland series. It was followed by the Japanese game named "Adventures of Lolo", which was essentially Lolo 2 with different puzzles. Adventures of Lolo 2 doesn't differ much from the first game. Some of the artwork was touched up and there's now a boss battle waiting at the end, but the same theme song still plays on an endless loop in the background, and the puzzles are built from the same elements. It feels like an expansion pack more than a true sequel, but I prefer this one. The puzzles are much more demanding, with the later ones being outright devious in the ways they force you to grapple with the system's nuances, and they make Lolo 1's challenges seem like an appetizer in comparison. Lolo 2 is a very satisfying game to finish, and being able to clear the aptly named pro levels feels like a genuine accomplishment.
