Cami de Ronda, Costa Brava

Day hike on Segment 6, out and back from Palamos, Spain. 7 miles I discovered the Cami de Ronda earlier this year. since I wanted to add a few days to my Spain trip. I decided to add in a visit to Palamos. late October can be iffy as far as weather goes. 100% chance of rain all day, but I was determined to walk! There was a particular spot I wanted to find, so I headed out to find it! such beautiful coastline. The trail was a mixture of paved, dirt, steps and stone. Well maintained and not to difficult. I passed by many small beaches, with small summer cottages, the remains of Castell de Sant Esteve Mar and La Ruta dels Ibers, which was where I had the view of the tunnel in the side of the hillside. I lucked out, getting no rain and at times a glimpse of sunshine. I saw a few hikers, with packs making me a little envious. Another walk to add to my list of "Camino" treks.
