Void Hands - Striving For Binary [No-input beats with feedback mixers]

Audio and video created with feedback sources, recorded directly onto VHS tape and then digitised. Multiple Behringer mixers (MX1604a, MX2442) and a Soundcraft F1 plugged into themselves were used to create the audio. The Behringer 1604a performs as the 'drum machine' as it has a unique capability to create very low frequency feedback which can manifest as beats. A video mixer (Panasonic WJ-AVE5) was used to create the video. This had one feedback channel , additionally the audio was fed in as a composite video input in order to modulate the visual feedback, and some existing live Void Hands footage was also fed into the video mixer to stimulate the feedback loop - this was one of the first Void Hands videos, the original for this track, created many years ago:    • Void Hands - Striving for Binary [No-input...
