A hike through Brian Boru's Fort and a cup of tea in the dark.

A short stroll through the magnificent Brian Boru's Fort (Béal Ború) on the banks of the river Shannon close to the village of Killaloe , drinking a cup of tea in the failing light, where the Emperor of the Gaels once spent his youth. A lone Robin the only remaining resident in this spectacular remnant of DalCassian (Brian Boru's tribe) fortification. Sitting under the creaking trees , you can almost hear the ancient whispers of the young Brian Bóruma mac Cennétig planning his guerilla raids around a crackling fire against the Danes of Limerick.
