Journey Through the Word Series: First Chronicles

Fuller discussion: https://seeingjesusdaily.substack.com... While 1 Chronicles opens like an exhausting ancient family photo album featuring hundreds of unpronounceable names, these genealogies actually establish that God's covenant story stretches seamlessly from Adam down to King David. Amid post-exilic ruins, David organises lavish worship and prepares for a temple he cannot build, while his own epic blunders highlight that flawed human monarchs are never the final hero of redemptive history. This lively theological history demonstrates that the fragile Davidic dynasty was actually paving the way for Jesus Christ, the greater Son of David who serves as the ultimate true temple, forgiving Saviour, and eternal King. #1Chronicles #BibleStudy #Jesus #Christianity #OldTestament #Faith #GodsWord #Scripture #JesusChrist #KingDavid #Genealogy #BibleVerse #Theology #Gospel #Grace #Worship #Covenant #KingOfKings #Hope #BiblicalHistory #DailyBread #ChristianLiving #TrustGod #GodsFaithfulness #Redemption #Messiah #ChristianCommunity #BiblicalTruth #SonOfDavid #BibleCommunity #biblestudy #scripture #christianliving #grace #theology #spiritualgrowth #faith #gospel #hope #jesus
