Easy test automation for checking PDF contents, even for emailed PDFs.

Test automation can be hard. The video shows how you can catch an email that contains a PDF attachment, and then verify the contents of that PDF by checking for something specific, such as a name or product code. The video makes use of the publically helper API endpoints that I developed and have hosted on testdata.help. You can use these endpoints right now, but for serious enterprise testing, it is recommended that the entire stack of helpers be deployed into a client environment from a freely available Git repository (that is nearly ready). So watch the video, and try out the endpoints for yourself. Use them to practice and hone your testing skills, and even experiment with AI assisted test script development or Agentic Testing. After showing how the helper API functions work, I show a prompt I used to get Claude to create a full end-to-end collection that signed up (including email verification and MFA enrolment), made a purchase, caught the Tax Invoice email, checked the PDF for completness and then checked that the PDF download from the order history screen is identical to the emailed PDF.
