Damian Collins OBE: UK Digital Markets Regime: Co-shaping by the CMA, the Government, and the CAT

Damian Collins OBE, a Senior Advisor at Geradin Partners; former British Minister for Tech and the Digital Economy when the DMCCA was introduced and adopted. We focused our conversation on comparing how the DMCCA is functioning in comparison with how it was intended to function. We looked at the history of designing and adopting the legislation, at the key stakeholders, main governmental ambitions, and checked if and to what extent these were delivered. We also examined the role of the Competition Appeal Tribunal in this matrix as well as many other adjacent issues associated with the new regime.
