NEW Betafpv NEX DCS Gimbals coming soon | FIRST LOOK AND INSTALLATION | Info in the vid description

Hello my whoop friends! I received the new NEX DCS gimbals from Betafpv—a beta version—to test them out. I kinda like them. I think I can actually feel the DCS sensors while flying, though it might just be the placebo effect. In any case, the gimbals are good enough that I’m keeping them in my radio—mainly because I find it easier to adjust the spring tension to suit my preferences. I prefer a bit more tension. Visually, the AG01 gimbals would certainly look much nicer, but for now, I’m sticking with the Betafpv NEX DCS gimbals. The installation wasn't difficult if you have the right instructions. I hope Betafpv creates good, complete instructions for the final product. The most difficult part of the installation was updating my remote control to a newer version of EdgeTX. I actually bricked the remote during the update process. Fortunately, unbricking it is relatively easy with EdgeTX. I wasn't able to install the absolute latest version of EdgeTX, but I did get one that was recent enough to make the gimbals work. After installing the gimbals, you naturally have to recalibrate their travel ranges and check—and correct—their travel directions in EdgeTX. Happy flying my whoop friends! Happy whoopin!
