🔗 Retire On $2,075 A Month — the nine-country manual with every number sourced and dated: https://moveabroadmanual.com DIRT CHEAP HOUSES IN COLOMBIA RENTING FOR $500 A MONTH (NOBODY’S MOVING THERE) On a $2,000 Social Security check, rent on even a modest apartment in much of the US can eat half the money before you buy a single bag of groceries. In Colombia’s overlooked mountain towns, a house with a garden costs a fraction of that. In Curití, Santander, 15 minutes from San Gil, houses with a garden rent for around 800,000 to 1,150,000 pesos, roughly $250 to $360 a month. In Marsella, a coffee town 35 minutes from Pereira, they run around 900,000 to 1,250,000 pesos, roughly $280 to $390. This video covers 10 towns across the coffee region, Boyacá, Santander and small-town Antioquia, with rent, climate, healthcare and the trade-off for each. Before you comment: yes, the US State Department rates Colombia as a whole at Level 3, “reconsider travel”, and lists specific Level 4 areas, including Arauca, Cauca, Norte de Santander and the zone within 10 km of the Venezuelan border. None of the 10 towns in this video is in or near those areas. Read the current advisory before you travel. All conversions use about 3,200 Colombian pesos to the US dollar, the rate checked in October 2026.
