Arbaeen Hussaini (A.S.) Observed with Devotion and Reverence at Stakpa Village

Arbaeen Hussain (A.S.) Observed at Stakpa Village KARGIL, August 4: Chehlum Imam Hussain (A.S.) was solemnly observed at stakpa village Sankoo sub division, as part of the district-wide Arbaeen commemorations in Kargil. Arbaeen marks the culmination of the 40-day mourning period following the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his 72 loyal companions in the Battle of Karbala in 680 AD. A mourning procession was taken out from Mangbour and culminated at Imam Bargah Stakpa. Hundreds of mourners participated in the procession, paying homage to the supreme sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his companions. The mourners beat their chests and recited Nauha in remembrance of the martyrs of Karbala. Addressing the gathering at Sheikh Hussain paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of Karbala. He said that these commemorations reaffirm the community's pledge of allegiance to the teachings, values, and ideals of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his loyal companions, who sacrificed their lives to preserve the true essence of Islam.
