A Quiet Escape to Rural Japan | Ryokan, Onsen & Yamaguchi ♨️

A few days exploring a quieter side of Japan with him, from Yamaguchi to Hagi. We travelled by a little retro train, tried local specialties, joined a pottery workshop, and spent a peaceful night at a traditional ryokan with an onsen, a Japanese garden, and dinner in our room. From Akiyoshido and Akiyoshidai to the historic streets of Hagi, the trip was filled with small discoveries, local places, and plenty of good moments. And after dinner at a local izakaya, the night somehow turned into a lively one. A little glimpse of rural Japan, filled with beautiful places, new experiences, and everyday moments along the way.
