Royal Caribbean Ovation of the Seas Alaska Icy Strait Point WHALES Northbound Cruise Fishing Hoonah

Stop 2!! Excited to see some marine life and Icy Strait Point did not disappoint! We got off the boat and there was a Disney Cruise ship already docked. Instead of the gondola, we walked the nature trail and it was really neat! We got to Disney's pier and decided to go down for low tide and saw so many starfish (100s) and other creatures, while watching whales swim through the channel! We walked all the way to town and checked out some totem carving. We found the perfect fishing hole for Dexter with two different water bodies to fish in...and he was successful! Then we took a bus back to Icy Strait point and back to the ship. But wait, there's more! Dex and I were going to go for a 2 mile run but felt great so kept going! Ended up all the way back in town, ran to the island and back and then ran all the way back to ISP! 5 miles! His longest run by almost 2 miles! Then dinner and chilling and The Price is Right show!
