Hooked On Pyramid Lake: Epic Lahontan Cutthroat Trout Fishing Adventure

Fantastic days are bound to come around when you search for them at this lake. Pyramid is so unique and wonderful, it is hard not to fall in love. This entire season has been the best scenery and fishing I have witnessed in a year. At the beginning of the season I visited my brother in Crescent City, they have a great Englund Marine store where I found the Purple Northern Lights pattern of Blue fox Spinner in size 4. In the store I said "this is going to crush at Pyramid". Throwing spinners is a very basic method of catching, anyone can do it. The first shore trip of the season it caught the three largest fish of the day and Chef Nick had lost one of the biggest fish I have seen at the lake on it. Let say, there was some room for improvement and over the next couple weeks, I showed Nick the video and coached him on what not to do, and how to counter the fishes movement. Our next trip he reely made use of the tips and plucked a 19lber. It was awesome! We all caught great fish and the sunrise and sunset was crazy good. The rest of the days we have been out have all been solid, on the boat too! That will be next, see you out there. Stay Fishy my friends
