CFA piling reaches the finish line on the Sturry Link Road project. Episode 33 brings another huge week across the scheme, with the final four CFA piles installed at Pier 1, taking the viaduct works to 92 CFA piles. But piling is only part of the story. This week we also follow major concrete operations at Pier 2, Pier 4 and the South Abutment, watch pile cropping begin at the North Abutment, and see the temporary works taking shape ready to support construction of the South Abutment wing walls. Then comes the end of an era as the piling rig leaves the project for the final time.
