On Data and Design #32 History of Information Design Online, January 29, 2026 Michael Stoll, Augsburg Michael Stoll is Professor of Information Design at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences and holds a comprehensive private collections of historical infographics. As co–author of Taschen's «History of Information Graphics,» he curated the traveling exhibition «History of Infographics,» bringing historical examples back into public awareness. On Data and Design is an evening lecture series organized by the Basel-based studio for information design Superdot – visualizing complexity. The lecture series fosters knowledge, community and exchange at the intersection of design and data practice. Our free, quarterly events feature three short talks with beer, snacks and good company. Currently On Data and Design live events are running in Basel, Vienna and Berlin with a growing community of over 5000 engaged DataVizzers.
