Teshuvah Day 35 - I Will Keep You

I WILL KEEP YOU | Teshuvah Day 35 Covenant does not begin with how tightly we hold onto Jesus. It begins with His faithfulness to hold us. At the table Jesus said, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you.” — Luke 22:20 His body was given. His blood was poured out. The veil was torn. The way was opened. Teshuvah under grace is not the frightened return of an orphan wondering whether the door is still open. It is the return of a beloved child discovering that the Father has not moved. Today Jesus calls us away from striving and back to His covenant faithfulness: “Not because you have held Me tightly. I have been holding you.” Come near. The way is open. Just, only, always Jesus.
