This week I spent $201 at Trader Joe's (about $130 if you take out my sparkling water case and the steak tips), and it's one of my favorite kinds of hauls. Before I go, I always check the Trader Joe's new items list on the website. This week it had only two items. I came home with eight new ones. The big one: Trader Joe's finally made a dairy-free protein yogurt. The new Organic Greek Style Cashew & Coconut Yogurt comes in Mixed Berry and Strawberry Vanilla, with 10 grams of plant-based protein and only 7 grams of added sugar. I've been hoping they would make this for a long time, and I taste both flavors on camera. This week I also tried the new Meringue Dessert Shells (they taste exactly like Lucky Charms marshmallows), both new GT's Alive drinks (Root Beer vs. Raspberry Lychee, and there's a clear winner), the new Uncured Calabrese Salami & Fresh Mozzarella Swirls, and the new Baby Pak Choi. And for the first day of fall, one of my all-time favorite returning items: the gluten-free Pumpkin Streusel Muffins. 10 out of 10.
