Acts 21 follows Paul’s journey to Jerusalem, the prophecy of Agabus, and Paul’s arrest at the temple. Even after learning that suffering and imprisonment awaited him, Paul remained ready to follow the Lord wherever obedience might lead. When Paul arrives in Jerusalem, he meets with James and the elders and shares what God has done among the Gentiles. He then takes part in a purification ceremony to help answer false rumors about his teaching. Before the ceremony is complete, Jews from Asia falsely accuse Paul of bringing a Gentile into the temple. The city erupts, the crowd seizes Paul, and Roman soldiers step in before he is killed.
