TIGER BAY STATE FOREST: PART ONE There are several roads that branch off the main road and this area does not connect with the Northern portion. Most of the side roads are dead ends with the exception of Wompy Strand. The area supports bears and deer as well as the protected Gopher tortoise. There are many areas with water and Lilly pads along the road that provide good photo opportunities. One of the cool parts can be found at the beginning. A brick road that at one time went from Daytona to DeLand.
