Ribble Steam Railway Spring Steam Gala Weekend Saturday 29th March 2025 Peckett 1935 “Hornet” returned to service during the Ribble Steam Railway's Spring Steam Gala 2025 on light duties running brake van rides in Southern Railway Queen Mary ADS56299. Also recently returned to steam were Borrows No. 48 "The King" and Andrew Barclay No. 1969 "JN Derbyshire", which operated services on the line, joining Furness Railway No.20 and Grant Ritchie No.272 on a mix of passenger and freight services. www.preservedrailway.co.uk (C) Lee Andrew Davies 2025
