Why does social anxiety make everyday things feel so difficult? Applying for a job. Speaking to a stranger. Making a phone call. Going outside without worrying about what people think. Sometimes, the fear of being judged becomes so overwhelming that we begin avoiding the very things we want from life. In this video, we explore the psychology of social anxiety through Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and three practical tools: Cognitive restructuring: Learn to question anxious thoughts instead of treating them as facts. Graded exposure: Break intimidating situations into smaller, manageable steps. Behavioural experiments: Test your fears in real life instead of relying on anxious predictions. I'll also share my personal experience of challenging my own fears while learning to speak in front of a camera. The goal isn't to become fearless overnight. It's to stop allowing every anxious prediction to make your decisions. Remember: A thought is not a fact, and feeling afraid doesn't automatically mean you're in danger. 📖 CBT Workbook: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1q...
