HE SAW DEATH IN THE MARKET | Dag Heward-Mills

A servant from Ghana goes to the market for his Nigerian boss and comes running back home shaking. He says he saw death itself, standing there staring at him. His boss doesn't believe it and marches down to confront death face to face, telling him he isn't afraid of anybody. Death's answer stops him cold: he wasn't trying to scare anyone, he was just surprised to see the servant in Nigeria - because he has an appointment with him back in Ghana that very day. Dag Heward-Mills uses the story to make one simple point: nobody knows the day of their appointment with death, so don't wait until tomorrow to get right with God.
