WHEN GOD STARTS TEXTING WHILE YOU ARE PRAYING | Dag Heward-Mills

Bishop Dag Heward-Mills explains why most Christians can only pray for a few minutes before running out of things to say. He tells the story of sitting next to a powerful government official on a six-hour flight and holding his attention the entire time by talking about what the man cared about - and then flips it to show that when we come to God with only our personal shopping list, the conversation dies fast. He plays an actual recording of someone asked to pray for Ghana, and the raw honesty of it is both funny and convicting. The point lands hard: if you want to pray for hours, start with His kingdom, His church, His work - not your shoes and your chickens. And always pray against evil, because prayer is what averts it.
