Odisha Vigilance Raid | Excise Officer Dhaneswar Barad Nabbed In a major anti-corruption crackdown, Odisha Vigilance intercepted ₹5 lakh in cash allegedly linked to Rourkela Excise Superintendent Dhaneswar Barad. The bribe money was being transported in a Scorpio vehicle via a local liquor shop salesman directly to the officer's residence. Following failure to explain the illegal cash source, Vigilance registered a case and launched simultaneous raids on his office and residential premises.
