Elden Ring: Dominula, Godskin Apostle & Ancient Dragon Lansseax - Episode 69

Hi everyone, it’s me, FacelessNobody. I invite you to sit next to me and play Elden Ring together - one of my favorite games. I’ve already beaten this game a few times, so I can share some tips with you during our journey. In this episode, we continue exploring Altus Plateau, mostly moving around the left side of the area and progressing a few questlines along the way. First, we meet Boc one more time and continue his story by giving him the Gold Sewing Needle. Our little tailor buddy can now work with even more impressive armor. We also make some progress with Diallos, although his story is not finished yet. Then we help Brother Corhyn, the guy who teaches us incantations, with his search for the mysterious Goldmask. Eventually, we manage to bring those two together and move their questline forward as well. During our exploration, we also find a red invasion sign that lets us progress Varre’s questline without invading actual players, especially useful if you are playing offline. So naturally, we invade Magnus the Beast Claw, defeat him, and he is kind enough to leave us his weapon afterward. After that, we make our way through a group of windmills where everyone seems to be having a wonderful little dancing festival. Very peaceful. Very cheerful. Absolutely nothing suspicious going on here. Then we reach Dominula, Windmill Village, and discover what this lovely celebration is actually about. Apparently, these people are connected to the Godskin cult, and all that dancing becomes a lot less charming once you realize what they are doing with people’s skin. At the top of the village, we meet another familiar enemy, the Godskin Apostle. We have fought these guys a few times already, so this time we also summon our friend Millicent and let her test the new prosthetic arm we gave her earlier. After dealing with the Apostle, we continue exploring and eventually find our way toward Sainted Hero’s Grave. But before entering, we meet another Ancient Dragon, Lansseax. This immediately reminds us of Ancient Dragon Senessax, whom we fought back in the DLC on our way toward Bayle. Fortunately, after everything we have been through since then, Lansseax doesn’t feel nearly as terrifying. After defeating the dragon, we finally enter the Hero’s Grave and begin exploring it. But we only get started this time.
