Excited to share that I recently sat down with Lucas Hill for a conversation on his podcast, and it was a real pleasure. We got into my story, from growing up in Hong Kong and being groomed to take over my dad’s accounting firm, to chasing a surgical career at KU, to eventually walking away from medicine for entrepreneurship. Along the way we talked about the habits and principles my family instilled in me, the role mentorship played in shaping my path, how I met my business partner at a Grant Cardone event, and what we do today at Lightspeed Investing, where a group of medical professionals turned investment professionals teach people to trade futures and commodities live. We also got honest about the early struggles that come with building a business in the real world. Big thanks to Lucas for the thoughtful questions and for creating space to share the full journey, the wins and the lessons that came with them. If you’re at a crossroads in your career or wondering whether it’s time to bet on yourself, I think you’ll find something in this one.
