He is transplanting the drive train from a Canadian Passat G60 Syncro into the GTI. Ron is not sending it out for any part of the build process. Engine, Transmission, Suspension, Roll Cage, Electronics, Wiring, Body Work, Paint; Ron is doing it all himself, with the help from a few friends now and then.
