Redhill Rising | Official Community Video

Redhill Rising is a community song celebrating the past, present and future of Redhill. This video brings together music and archive images of the local area to tell the story of a town shaped by its people, its history and its shared sense of place. Created by Franklin Music CIC, Redhill Rising brings together local schools, Franklin Voices, Include Choir and the wider community in a shared performance of music, inclusion and local pride. The project has been developed through workshops in local schools, with a focus on creativity, collaboration and inclusive communication, including the use of Makaton signing in the chorus. A huge thank you to Emily Myles from Include.org for her signing in this video and for sharing her expertise with us all. We are also very grateful to the Redhill and Reigate History Society for providing some of the wonderful archive images featured in this video.
