Lev.23:1+2 “And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘The feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts (מוֹעֲדֵ֣י – My feasts/appointed times).”
High priest offered animal blood once a year to cover the sins of the nation. NB Jesus became the perfect, final sacrifice, shedding His own blood on the cross to permanently take away the sins of the world.
Heb.9:11-24 Jesus entered heaven itself once for all, securing eternal redemption for believers.
Rom.5:1 “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”
God by Grace took every persons sin into His own body, and suffered and paid the debt, that you and I were supposed to pay. But you have to access what He did for you, by faith, by believing it!
Rom.10:9 you have to confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you shall be saved!!
Mark 5:41 “Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, “Talitha, cumi,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.”
42 Immediately the girl arose and walked, for she was twelve years of age. And they were overcome with great amazement.”
KJV v.42 “And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment."
[..temporarily stunned or filled with wonder].” That is the type of reaction that must follow us, as we follow Yeshua Jesus day by day, hour by hour,
..doing everything in His presence with His, not ours, His Faith, Hope & Love! Realising the absolute goodness of His Glory in & around us!
Psalm 34:1 NKJV (TPT God’s Goodness) “I Will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. 3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together.
4 I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. 5 They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.
(TPT Gaze upon Him, join your life with His, and joy will come. Your faces will glisten with glory. You’ll never wear that shame-face again.)
6 This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. 7 The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.
8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! (TPT Drink deeply of the pleasures of this God. Experience for yourself the joyous mercies he gives to all who turn to hide themselves in him.)
9 Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. (TPT Worship in awe and wonder, all you who’ve been made holy! For all who fear Him will feast with plenty)
10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. 11 Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 Who is the man who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good? 13 Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking deceit.
14 Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. 15 The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry.
16 The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. 18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
(Prov.24:16 “For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again,...” Micah 7:8 “Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The Lord will be a light to me.”)
20 He guards all his bones; Not one of them is broken. 21 Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
22 The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.
(TPT But the Lord has paid for the freedom of His servants, and he will freely pardon those who love Him. He will declare them free and innocent when they turn to hide themselves in Him.).”
WANT TO READ V.6 AGAIN: “6 This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.”
He had to hide in the cave of Adullam, meaning “their prey”. Yet the beautiful sounds of praise were heard echoing in his cavern. This is a lesson for all of us: We must also praise our way out of our difficulties into His light!
Mark5:42 “..overcome with great amazement.” / ..astonished with a great astonishment."
Of the Goodness of God!
