Marazion 10K 2026 🏃‍♂️ | We Nearly Missed the Start! | Cornwall Race Day

🏃‍♂️ MARAZION 10K 2026 | CORNWALL RACE DAY Welcome back to Cornish Runner! This week I’m heading to beautiful Marazion in Cornwall for the Marazion 10K — and this one got off to a slightly chaotic start! With the car park about a mile from registration, we didn’t realise quite how far we’d have to walk. After collecting our race numbers and ankle tags, we had to walk all the way back to the car to collect our running shoes… then rush back to the start with just two minutes to spare! 😳 The race itself started under cloudy skies at around 18°C, with very little wind. But as the kilometres passed, the clouds cleared, the sun came out and the second half became considerably warmer. The course is an undulating 10K with around 140 metres of elevation, including three main hills, plenty of fantastic Cornish scenery and a brilliant downhill section towards the end. There was a water station around the halfway point, fantastic support from the marshals and spectators, and a slight climb into the finish line. And after 10 kilometres, there was a well-earned finisher’s medal and goodies bag waiting at the finish!
